Dr. Waywood is an audiologist with extensive experience working in clinical, hospital and academic settings. She provides a wide range of diagnostic, rehabilitative and dispensing services for patients of all ages. Prior to joining Southeastern ENT, Dr. Waywood served as Audiologist in a multi-specialty physician group in Indiana, where she provided audiological patient care for neurology, otolaryngology, internal medicine, and family medicine. As an adjunct professor at Indiana State University, Dr. Waywood has designed and taught undergraduate courses in audiology including lectures and hands-on lab instruction.

Specialty: Audiology
This specialty of medicine deals with the diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders. Audiologists perform the entire array of hearing tests necessary to diagnose both conductive and nerve hearing disorders. They are also experts in hearing aid fitting and dispensing. Dr. Waywood has a doctorate in audiology with a special interest in hearing rehabilitation, making sure that each individual patient is fit with the proper type of hearing aid device.
